I've encountered a really bad experience with one of the engineers who came out today. First impression, he seemed to be busy over the phone with someone, not even paying attention to what I had to tell him about the issue! Asked him a question and he gave absolutely no response, as if he didn't want to be here. He took his electronic devices and did a few checks. He asked me what the problem was, and I told him the washing machine is turning on and was washing, but didn't seem to be drying at all. He asked me to help him push some buttons as he was wearing gloves, and then he opened the bottom of the washing machine. He saw 1 little dead cockrach and he said "There you go, you have an infestation in the washing machine, and this is why your machine is not working! "And the board is gone! I asked him if he could move the machine so that we could visually check and confirm if there were any cockroaches, but he refused to do anything. He did not even bother moving the washing machine. He said to me, "Your warranty is void, and that was it. He did not open anything or even check the back. Later, we did a check, took photos and videos, but there was nothing around the back of the washing machine, and nothing crawling!! The engineer blatantly lied in his report that he had seen loads of cockroaches all over inside the washing machine!! I guess he is just an incompetent engineer who just wanted to be in and out of the job without really fixing the problem. Unashamed, the engineer wrote in the report - Please do not rebook this call back. Also found controls boards faulty and the relay clicking. He seemed to be in a rush and just left. Complaining to the Teamleader, I was told I now need to get a certificate or note for pest control before they can look at it again. I was quoted by Pest Control - £120 survey plus extra for visits! Until this is sorted, they will not be looking into the machine. That response does not guarantee they will come and fix the machine! I have paid for a very expensive Machine that only worked for a year, and now excuses upon excuses for voiding the warranty, and the engineer did not even propose a solution or resolution! Probably the first and last time using Bosch! Very unhappy with the outcome, and reading several similar experiences confirms my point.

absolutely awfull experience overall the shipship was nice and the crew pleasent and despite the ship being late which you cant do anything about firstly after foot passengers check in we were left sat around in cold draughty lounges waiting to board on arrival at belfast it took 45 minutes before we were allowed to disembark by the time we got off the ship the connecting translink bus 96 had left and we were literally dumped in belfast left to make our own way with no onward connection untill the bus came back at 2.15 in 3 hours time or walk into belfast about 2 miles. the advice i was given was to use the value cabs free phone and get a taxi which fortuneately i had the money to do but was a £15 expense i could have done without on returning the translink 96 does not go anywhere near belfast central station which is the main interchange in the city but from upper queen street which is difficult to find incuring a further £15 taxi journey back to the port on arrival we were left in a cold draughty lounge in belfast terminal. overall the belfast route is not intended for foot passengers but for cars and lorries the connections are practically non existant with translink and needs major improvement there was a mini bus owned by stena which could have run us into the city but wasnt even offered its an expierence i will not repeat in a hurry the only reason i went with stena because they are the only one to northern ireland where you can travel as a foot passenger with a pet larne would have been easier with a direct rail connection but if you have a pet you must take your car over at £150 each way with p&o

I've bought and sold over 200 items with this company since 2018 (I'm a camera / equipment addict). This week I spent over £1200 for my forthcoming 60th birthday. The camera was sold as "Like New" but as soon as I unwrapped it I saw a thick coating of powdery residue below the lens mount. Also, the camera was supposed to come with a genuine manufacturers battery, but all that was supplied was a cheap third-party one. I emailed MPB thinking I may get a partial refund as it's not in the condition it was sold as being. Unfortunately, although they offered a full return, I'd already told them I didn't want to do this, I just wanted a partial refund as it wasn't even close to being in the stated condition. I didn't want the hassle of packing it up again and taking it to a DPD shop. All they advised was how to clean it! Also the response made no mention of the missing battery. So I emailed again stating they were missing the point of it not being in "Like New" condition at all and I wanted a genuine battery sending out. No response so far. I won't be buying from them again (last time I said that I went back as I couldn't find anywhere better). They're great if everything goes smoothly and you get what you paid for, but quality control and customer service have taken a nose-dive over the past few years. I've only made 2 complaints in over 200 transactions, although I've had to send 4 faulty items back to the in the past (in those instances they were quite quick to refund, to be fair). But really disappointed with this most recent experience.
